All of our chicken at Mountain Dawn Farm is raised seasonally on pasture where they are moved daily to fresh grass. Chickens are fed a daily ration of Non-GMO soy free feed that is produced right here in North Carolina. Chickens are then processed directly on our farm so we can ensure quality from start to finish. All of our chickens are free of vaccinations, hormones, and antibiotics.
Chickens typically weigh around 5lbs.
